Pierre Filion

Pierre Filion

Pierre Filion is a prominent builder of lacrosse in Quebec. He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2021, in the Builder category, in recognition of his key role in founding the provincial lacrosse governing body in the 1970s.

Rad Joseph

Rad Joseph

Rad Joseph is a lifelong contributor to lacrosse in Ontario. Inducted into the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2025 as a Special Contributor, he is recognized for his decades of dedication as a player, coach, manager, and builder—most notably for founding the Ottawa Titans Junior “A” team in 2005, which opened new opportunities for players in Eastern Ontario.

Introducing Jay Sobel

 

Jay and daughter Layla 

Jay Sobel is a veteran industrial designer and proud lacrosse enthusiast. With 35 years of experience, he’s a Professional Member of the Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario, holding 29 patents and 34 design awards in fields from telecom to healthcare.

A lifelong lacrosse player and coach, Jay has spent over four decades playing across all competitive levels and 32 years coaching teams throughout Ontario. He helped launch the Ottawa Titans Junior A Lacrosse franchise and contributed to the sport’s design side, creating NCAA-approved lacrosse heads for adidas® in 2009.

Combining his design expertise with his passion for the game, Jay has also created logos, uniforms, and branding for numerous lacrosse organizations — including University of Toronto, Carleton University, Ottawa Lasers, Nepean Knights, Ottawa Titans, and Think Lacrosse.
